Hello there! I'm Mary Beth, and I'm happy that you're considering a journey of healing. I aim to work with people who are focused on their own emotional healing & who are willing to "do the work" to improve their lives. As a Licensed Master Social Worker, I will focus on each person's physical & emotional safety by creating a safe space free from judgment. If you're in an abusive relationship, feeling depressed, struggling with addiction, or just need someone to listen, I'm a person who will hear you out & may even challenge your thought processes & beliefs! I focus on what's RIGHT with people instead of what's wrong.
I am at a place in my career where I have chosen to pursue my clinical license to help others as a mental health practitioner so I can focus on helping them heal & grow. I have experience in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, & empowering others through self-advocacy. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am genuine, open-minded, & honest.
