As a Filipina/Asian American, I understand the difficulties and stigma of being vulnerable with a stranger and being open to one’s personal difficulties. I strive to create a safe and inviting environment for my clients by accepting and understanding my client’s worldview and truth. I see myself as a guest in each of my client’s worldview who is there to assist in self-discovery, growth, and reflection. My counseling background has focused on assisting neurodivergent clients navigate their worldview and the various challenges and victories they face.
My approach is based on self-compassion, emotion focused, trauma informed, and skills building. I currently contract with Resolve Strategies, Inc. where I provide outpatient services along with volunteering for Heads Up Guidance Services. I also have a background with working youth/adolescent in residential treatment.
