Do you have a school-age child struggling with behavioral issues? If so, together, we can develop a plan to help your child overcome the obstacles in their life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience. I have been in private practice for about 11 years. My extensive background includes in-patient, residential, day treatment, and home-based. I am currently working on my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) dissertation.
Working with children, pre-teens and adolescents is my specialty. With my extensive education, training, and experience, I offer my clients empathy and patience. Each child is different, so I individualize the treatment plan accordingly. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), therapy with play, therapy with art, therapeutic games, etc.
I also offer evening and Saturday appointments. I have worked extensively with military families over the years. I was an Air Force spouse for 25 years, having moved nine times. Military life is very relatable to me.
