I have been a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for 34 years and helping heal families in my private practice for 24. I specialize in many areas such as child abuse, domestic violence, adoption and infertility related issues, grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, communication training and fair fighting techniques. Many clients come for short, solution focused therapy. I welcome everyone, despite gender, age, ethnicity, religion or sexual preference. My goal is to make the client feel welcome from the moment they arrive, until the time they leave with information that can immediately make a difference in their life.
My specialty is couples counseling, however this area of expertise leads me to work with many individuals on relationship related issues, such as lack of communication, unproductive arguing and various abuse types. One person can truly change a relationship by changing themselves. It's never impossible to heal a marriage.
I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to counsel hundreds of families who keep in touch with me. In some cases, I have counseled 3 generations, and have been able to follow their successes . I love what I do, I sincerely care, and I think it shows.
