I conduct psychodynamic therapy with an integrated biopsychosocial approach. I specialize in therapy for depression and anxiety, communication enhancement, work and career issues, life transitions, stress management, women's issues, issues of aging, and physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse issues. In addition to providing individual psychotherapy, I routinely conduct psychological evaluations for a variety of concerns including ADHD, Alzheimer's Disease, Autism Spectrum Disorders, educational assessments, learning concerns, pre-surgical evaluations, traumatic brain injuries, and emotional disturbances.
I practice EMDR with select clients. EMDR is an innovative psychotherapy approach that has been shown to accelerate the treatment of a wide variety of difficulties and mental health concerns. Another interest of mine is Sandtray Therapy with adults. Sandtray is increasingly recognized as an effective tool in trauma counseling.
Recently, I have added Alpha-Stim therapy treatment to my practice. Alpha-Stim is a clinically proven medical device that relieves anxiety, insomnia and depression using electromedical technology.
