A little about me-I have over 20 years experience in the medical field in which I gained experience in dealing with life transitions, grief, loss and other life changes good and bad. I bring this perspective into my approach. I offer a space that is judgment free and supportive.
I utilize a narrative approach in my work because I feel there is healing in telling your story. I am also trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. EFT works to improve communication and strengthen the bond between partners. Whether you are struggling in your relationship or things are going well, communication can always improve.
Some of my specialties include loss and grief, relationship problems, trauma, life transitions, parenting issues, & social anxiety. I work from a relational approach with couples and individuals, coming from a place of encouragement and positivity so my hope is that you always feel like you have someone in your corner, and feel understood and seen.
