Finding a stable sense of well-being can feel like an uphill struggle. It is a continually moving target that requires effort, adaptability, and support to maintain. As a therapist, I provide that support by helping people process and work through the issues they face. And among life’s issues, accepting help can be one of the most difficult. Talking to a stranger about one’s problems is understandably daunting, which is why I strive to create a comfortable environment free of judgment and rich with compassion.
I am an LCPC and earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College in Newton, MA. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, which means I am comfortable letting you shape your session, or I can provide structure tailored for your specific needs.
My primary experience is working with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, though I also have experience with issues related to grief/loss, trauma, relationships, identity, careers, and life transitions. I frequently use evidence-based techniques including CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based approaches.
