My interest is in helping individuals cope with the adversities in their lives. I have been inspired by the many individuals I worked with who have faced enormous challenges and still were able to lead satisfying lives. They have developed effective strategies for dealing with adversity, for coming to terms with setback in a mature and realistic way, for enjoying life despite difficulties. I use a number of therapies, including the traditional ones as well as mindfulness and eastern philosophy, to help individuals more skillfully deal with adversity.
A life time athlete, and daily runner, I often work from a mind/body perspective. My therapeutic practice is informed from working in many different parts of the world in diverse cultures and real life settings. My approach emphasizes an understanding of environmental and cultural factors that contribute to adversity.
I do take on new clients as space becomes available. Unfortunately, my practice is usually at full capacity. If I am not available, please continue searching elsewhere, as there are many qualified therapists that can help you.
