With this in mind, I work hard to develop a strong therapeutic relationship that is collaborative and supportive for my clients. Here is a bit about me to help you decide if I would be a good fit to help with your concerns! I provide individual and group counseling to adult clients. I work mostly with college aged people but have experience with all ages! I have training in working with people who identify as transgender and have experience writing letters of support for HRT or GRS.
Additionally, I have experience providing counseling services to caregivers of person's navigating the complexity of an ALS diagnosis. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation and substance abuse along with various other concerns.
I work from a cognitive behavioral theoretical orientation and focus heavily on the client counselor relationship. I also emphasize a holistic approach and works to meet the needs of each individual when considering interventions.
