Hi there, I’m Marisela! My name is Marisela Rosales, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Whittier, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with Latina women and specialize in anxiety, stress, pregnancy, postpartum, pregnancy loss, and infertility. I use a somatic attachment approach to help clients feel and live better. My approach in therapy is somatic, body-based healing, and relational (attachment). A body-based approach allows for healing at the nervous system level which is especially helpful in working through anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and trauma.
Understanding your relational patterns is helpful as you navigate healing relational traumas and developing healthier adult relationships. My style of communication is soft, gentle, yet direct and honest. I guide with compassion but also hold the client accountable so they can take leadership in their own healing and growth.
I work best with Latina women aged 26-55 who are committed to their own healing and want to work with somatic, body-based healing practices. My ideal clients are working through challenges of anxiety, people-pleasing, overthinking, self-doubt, and perfectionism.
