My name is Marisa. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Rutgers University and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health from Rutgers School of Biomedical Science. provided individual counseling and case management to individuals diagnosed with mental health and substance abuse barriers. As a graduate student, I have launched community-wide outreach events to educate members of the community about Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
I use a wide collective range of clinical modalities and interventions such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which assists in combating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
