I am a mental health counselor offering a client centered approach and believe that all people can change. Have you been struggling to move past your trauma and feel stuck? Childhood trauma changes who we are, but it does get better. There can be healing so life does not have to be so hard.
Feeling shame and guilt for childhood trauma, shame that is not yours to carry. Sometimes having someone to share these fears and shame can be healing all on its own. By incorporating some skills and reprocessing memories using eye movement desensitizing reprocessing (EMDR) can free an individual of intense negative emotions.
I believe that anyone has the capacity to change and that all beings are equal. I provide a safe place to share your experiences free of judgement. I have 6 years of experience working with highly traumatized individuals in a co-occurring facility. My great-grandmother was a Native American healer and I believe I have inherited her gift of healing.
