I assist clients in navigating life's changes and challenges in a positive, healthy manner. I utilize cognitive behavioral, trauma informed care, and mindfulness techniques to work with clients to manage symptoms related to depression, anxiety, school related issues, peer interactions/social anxiety, family issues and other areas of concern.
I practice from a strengths based approach and utilize several modalities when working with clients, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution focused therapy, Parent Management Training (PMT), mindfulness (Mindful Schools), and The Nurtured Heart Approach.
Through working together, I will walk the journey with clients toward that which brings wholeness and fulfillment. I bring compassion, empathy, and understanding; I will help clients change distortions in thinking to create a healthier and positive outlook.
