I am an open minded psychologist and meditation instructor specializing in couples, family and relationship therapy, individual therapy for anxiety, depression and life stressors for adults and children. I utilize an integrative approach including mindfulness and acceptance, family systems, cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic and narrative therapy in working with a wide range of clients and problems. I seek to meet clients where they are and understand their cultural contexts while helping them reach their goals. I am a kind, compassionate and motivating therapist that collaborates with clients to live their best life.
My interest in mindfulness practice is inspired by the work of Thich Nhat Hanh as well as secular traditions. This east-west integration flows through my clinical practice. I believe that each of us seek meaningful and compassionate connections and I hope to help you fulfill that need.
My work with couples and people in relationships is informed by attachment theory, Emotion Focused and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy which examines the dialectic between acceptance and change in relationships. I look forward to working with you.
