I've worked with clients with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, life adjustment,and relationship issue.Exec. Function and Parenting support. I'm passionate about helping those adjusting to life transitions.Whether it is a new school, country, diagnostic or relationship, my goal is to offer a non-judgmental and safe space that encourages my clients to make healthy choices and improve the quality of their relationships.We're all impacted by biological, psychological, and social factors.By understanding how those parts are connected,I believe we can get to the root cause of our struggle and access the resources we need to heal.
During my sessions, I will be curious to understand the way your body, mind and social environment are connected to your symptoms. I will also be interested in hearing your story, dreams, and the quality of your relationships.Similar to a puzzle, we will work together to connect the pieces and gain greater awareness of the forces impacting your choices.
I draw on a variety of theoretical approaches, including psychodynamic, somatic experience, and DBT. I am constantly searching for new ways that can attend to the unique needs of my client.I hope to hold a space where scary things can be discussed, but mostly, where strengths can be highlighted and progress celebrated.
