We all experience different situations in life where we could benefit from a little bit of support and guidance. I chose to become a mental health professional because I saw the need for people to have someone to talk to. I work with families and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, trauma, school difficulties, foster care issues, grief, parenting, self-esteem, and other issues. My goal is to help clients feel prepared to take the next step, whether that’s nurturing small progress or planting seeds for future growth.
I bring a playful and positive approach to therapy, meeting my clients where they are at and continually embracing opportunities for growth. My therapeutic approach emphasizes self-advocacy, rapport-building, shifting negative thought patterns, strength-based interventions, and encouraging emotional expression.
I hold degrees in Child Development, Rehabilitation Services, and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization under Trauma Studies. Additionally, I am MAP certified and have ongoing training in Seeking Safety. I bring a deep understanding of the therapeutic process and am grateful for the opportunity to work with my clients and see them grow.
