I am a licensed clinical social worker, with a master's degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas. I work with a wide range of mental health challenges including Depression, Anxiety, Stress Management, Grief, Eating Disorders and Trauma. I specialize in working with preteens, adolescents and adults. My career experience has been in child welfare, case management, outpatient group therapy and individual therapy. I am described as being compassionate, warm, caring and insightful. I am accepting new clients via in-office visits, Telehealth, and by phone.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and strength-based therapy. I also certified as an Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist.
It is my goal to provide an environment for my clients that allow them to feel safe and comfortable, while working together. I strive to empower my clients, and help them discover ways to develop healthy coping skills and overall well-being. If you are interested in services feel free to give me a call or send a message!
