I work with EMDR, SFBT, Mindfulness Meditation, and Existential Therapy to address the needs of the people I work with. PTS is naturally occurring whether from childhood experiences or as an adult. It has been my privilege and honor to work with Veterans, First Responders and their family members through difficulties related to anxiety, depression, anger management, communication problems, self-medication, agoraphobia, social anxiety, and more. My job is to be fully present acting as a container for the release of issues as we uncover strengths and assets that are overlooked, forgotten or undiscovered.
It is my covenant to be present with you in your moment of need with all that I am as a counselor, a human being and an artist. Our work to create anew from the past, to rebuild your life, with all due respect and self-worth that you deserve. This is that path that I was led to follow and I will do my best to help you help yourself.
I am not only their counselor, I am also their advocate. Is the work we do easy, generally speaking, no. It may be one of the toughest things they have ever worked through. We build resources and tools to work through difficult times in your life. Together it is possible to weave a fabric of wellness from threads of tinsel strength that last.
