Life is complicated, and at times, it can feel overwhelming, lonely, or unfulfilling. Pain, grief, hopelessness, past traumas and difficult relationships can seem like too much to bear. My 10+ years of experience as a social worker and a clinician in NYC has lead me to believe that healing is possible for everyone. There is help. You don’t have to do it alone. As a therapist and a human I work from a place of openness, curiosity, compassion and introspection.
I am an active participant in sessions with clients, because therapy is more than just listening. In therapy I help patients explore and address past traumas or childhood experiences and how they impact current patterns and quality of life. I also work with mindfulness, practical skills and shifts in thinking and relating and somatic interventions.
I strongly believe in a person centered, trauma informed approach and I will work with you to find the modality or modalities that work best. You are the holder and the builder of your most fulfilling life.
