Life can be hard. At certain points we can feel defeated, stuck, and lost. Life can also be beautiful and energizing. Learning how to navigate the ups and downs of life is necessary in allowing the full, messy, wonderful experience. I work with children, adolescents, emerging adults, and adults alike to feel more present and grounded in who they are, find purpose and healing on their life journey, and build a healthy sense of self along the way. In doing so, we explore areas of the self including self-image, sense of self, limiting beliefs and values, as well as attachment styles, relationships, mindfulness, and somatic practices.
My therapeutic style is person-centered, strength-based, and humanistic in nature. I have worked in areas of mood disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD and trauma, substance use, life stress and transitions, and self-esteem. I am comprehensively trained in substance use work and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
I enjoy engaging with clients in a free-flowing, conversational, and informal manner, where I bring my genuine and occasionally goofy self into the therapy space. I am very passionate about the well-being of humans and look forward to building the therapeutic relationship together, fostering empowerment alongside you, and walking with you on your journey.
