Welcome! I am a forensic mental health counselor with over 10 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of forensic and clinical settings, including the Massachusetts Department of Correction, Suffolk County jail, and other institutions. I have assessed, evaluated, and treated individuals for a range of mental health and forensic issues. Currently, I provide forensic and mental health counseling at Sapphire Counseling Services. As a bilingual and bicultural therapist, I have the privilege of offering services in both Spanish and English to individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
My passion lies in working with people from all walks of life, and I am particularly committed to supporting marginalized communities such as the LGBTQ+ community, immigrant families, minority groups, and indigenous people. As a therapist, my top priority is to create a warm and welcoming environment where all individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.
I meet my clients where they are at in their mental wellness journey and strive to provide a safe and contained space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings. Through collaborative and compassionate therapy sessions, I work directly with my clients to help them develop the skills they need to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.
