My specialty in practice is counseling individuals who are dealing with life transition issues. Life-changing events can be tough... dealing with a challenging relationship or with serious illness in yourself or a loved one, loss of a loved one or a job, divorce, kids leaving for college, starting out on a new career, getting used to new management. Events like these can drain your self-confidence, test your patience, and cause you to question who you really are or want to be.
I have worked with men and women of all ages dealing with anxiety, depression, career concerns, ADHD, grief and bereavement, self-esteem, relationship challenges, anger issues, and trauma associated with domestic abuse and adverse childhood experiences. I currently work with adults ages 18 or older.
Every individual is unique, and deserves to be treated without judgment and with respect. I use a family systems approach which helps clients understand their issues within their larger family and societal context.
