My name is Maria Monte and I am a Spanish-speaking licensed professional counselor offering online therapy to children and adults. I treat an array of conditions, however, my specializations include trauma, PTSD, child and adolescent therapy, grief counseling, anxiety, and depression.
I believe it is especially important to understand how our past has influenced our present. I also believe that we see and relate to the world the way we were shaped from an early age. Knowing who we are and how we see and perceive the world helps us understand how we relate better to ourselves and to others.
Fun fact - During the last 14 years, I have moved to and from other countries and states and my true home is between Texas and Spain. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish!
