I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Board-Certified Music Therapist, who has experience working with infants, children, adolescents, adults, and their families. I specialize in diagnoses related to neurological disorders, including traumatic brain injuries, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, autism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, developmental and speech delays. My areas of interest also include: post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, social-emotional challenges, grief, low self-esteem, conflicts related to major life transitions, life threatening diseases, and chronic pain.
My approach is strength based, family oriented, and holistic. Emphasis in my practice is placed on the combination of Psychotherapy and Music Therapy, an evidenced-based system that consists of standardized clinical techniques that focus on my clients’ physical and emotional wellbeing.
