I specialize treating anxiety, relational issues and life transition challenges using an eclectic therapeutic approach. I incorporate aspects of psychodynamic therapy to encourage understanding of how past experiences create current patterns. Together we will reduce the symptoms of anxiety by cultivating skills and coping tools, using a Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy approach. Through therapy, my hope is that you will feel empowered to make the changes necessary to live a life that is in-line with your hopes and dreams. I treat individuals, teens and families and couples in my practice.
I will introduce mindfulness techniques and teach cognitive-behavioral therapy methods to help you develop greater awareness of unhelpful thoughts and toxic behavioral patterns. Learning these methods will bring you relief from current stressors by helping you take control of your thoughts, emotions and relationships.
My work as a therapist is both a passion and a calling. I believe that individuals benefit from therapy when they form an honest and open relationship with their therapist.
