Hello, my name is Margarita Cooper and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) working with clients via telehealth. I work with adults and specialize in treating anxiety, stress, and depression using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy to help my clients reach their treatment goals. I work with adults and specialize in the treatment of anxiety and depression. My approach is dependent on my clients' specific goals and needs. I use Client Centered therapy as I value each person's ability to direct themselves and move toward their desired outcomes.
I honor each individual's values and needs and work collaboratively to support clients in making the changes they are wanting to make. I also use my knowledge and understanding of the role attachment plays in our lives to support clients in better understanding their own relationships.
I support clients in creating healthier emotional bonds that serve to support them as they journey through life. My communication style is one that is open and attuned. I hope to relay my desire to understand my clients' world as well as to relay my value and respect for their story.
