Hi, I'm Margaret Walsh. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with diverse individuals for over 20 years. I am certified in MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction). I am a certified Sexual Assault Counselor & a Trauma Specialist. I also work with social workers to obtain their clinical supervision hours.
I utilize EBP (Evidence Based Practice) and coping skills and strategies that work. I use MBSR, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) techniques and Strength-Based Perspective. Through various exercises and life-work assignments, we will build on your intrinsic strengths & self-care.
I provide a warm, non-judgemental environment so you feel comfortable sharing your story with me. I am a down-to-earth, kind and compassionate therapist.
