I believe that the key to a successful psychotherapeutic experience starts with the relationship between the therapist and the client.
I help my clients acquire new coping skills and assist them in finding their own solutions to life's challenges. I use an integrative approach drawing from various theoretical orientations, and customize a treatment plan that meets each client's individual needs.
My areas of specialization include: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Depression, Anxiety/Panic Disorder, Stress Management, Relationships, Adjusting to Change/LifeTransitions, and any other issues that may have impact on my clients' interpersonal relationships.
My professional experience includes; a private psychotherapy practice, guest lecturing at the high school and university level in the field of human sexuality, speaking at conferences around the country, and presenting workshops to mental health professionals. I authored an award winning book, and have made national television appearances.
