Therapy? It is difficult to make the decision to enter into therapy but even more important to find a therapist in which you feel comfortable. Understanding these feelings of others have allowed me to be in practice for over fifteen years. Making the first step to call can be a difficult process and I pride myself in empathizing with this difficulty. I have made it part of my practice serving children, adolescents, and adults to take the time to relate to each individual on an individual basis and attempt to make each client to feel comfortable making this difficult step.
The areas that I specialize in are anxiety, mood disorders, behavioral issues, women's studies, and relationships. I have spent twenty years developing expertise in these areas. Each area is a passion, I pride myself in being able to aide people in the ability to learn new strategies which will allow higher levels of functioning.
I view my role as a counselor to provide tools that are developed for each individual to implement throughout their life. These tools allow for higher levels of self awareness that aides in healthier, happier lives.
