When struggling on life's path, talking with a professional offers support, helping to make changes when we feel stuck. I work with those experiencing depression,anxiety or unable to reach life goals. also, with those mandated for treatment due to DUI, or family members struggling with addiction. I provide a safe, non-judgemental, compassionate environment to explore; family relationships, marital discord, work environment issues, adolescent peer group issues such as; alcohol/drug abuse and assistance in increasing self esteem. My style is warm and engaging. My therapeutic dynamics are based on a collaborative effort using supportive therapy, solution based therapy with cognitive behavioral techniques.
I have extensive experience working with adolescents who are experimenting with alcohol and other substances. I also work with adults with addiction issues. In addition, I work with IDRC clients who have received a DUI and need mandated treatment.
You will find I provide a warm, friendly approach to helping Individuals and families find solutions to problems that are holding them back.
