I am a Clinical Psychologist in private practice with more than 20 years' experience helping individual adults, teens, children and their families. I offer both Psychotherapy and Consultation. Psychotherapy in a safe and caring atmosphere can offer a pathway to insight, personal understanding and achieving new goals that bring a more rewarding life. My clinical approach is an interactive one since I believe that successful therapy is a collaborative process. I incorporate various therapeutic approaches: Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, Psychoanalytic, Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
My own extensive professional experience in teaching, corporate management and organizational development enriches my work with adult clients. I understand the complexities of the work environment and the multiple factors that can interfere with self-esteem, work performance, and success. Depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, caregiver stress and bereavement are important areas for healing.
I've worked with children for 30+ years because I believe that addressing issues early can prevent a lifetime of distress. Once children feel understood they are able to make changes and find better solutions. Parents are an integral part of this process. I bridge the gap between parent's concerns and child's reactions.
