Welcome! My name's Margaret Ann and I am a LCSW at Indigo Counseling. Starting therapy is a difficult step, which is why I believe in meeting you where you are at and easing into the tough stuff. My favorite part of my job is getting to see clients heal from the events and stressors that they never thought would get easier. The path to healing can be tough, but I hope I can be a part of your journey.
I have nearly ten years of experience in working with teenagers and adults. I am EMDR trained and in the process of applying for certification. I also have had training in polyvagal and somatic techniques. I believe that everyone has experienced some level of trauma and can benefit from these techniques.
It is a privilege to be able to walk alongside you and help you heal. I would love to talk more and see if we would be a good fit. I like to mix in some light hearted conversation so that our sessions don't feel so heavy.
