I have worked with many different ages and presenting concerns with positive outcomes. I handle most cases through an attachment lens as I am certified in EFT. I build easy rapport and provide a very emotionally safe environment for therapeutic exploration.
I have treated many different areas of mental health, including: relationships of all types, anxiety, depression, addictions, etc. I am passionate about working with couples and individuals above 12 years of age. I also have experience in complex family dynamics. I utilize EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy -Dr. Sue Johnson's work) with couples.
I have a lot of cultural competence. My follow up is outstanding. I also do interactive technological therapy (vimeo, skype, etc) when warranted. Was the Social Work Director of a very large school for 18 years, where I supervised over 70 MSW students.
