Many of us are experiencing anxiety or depression in response to world events. Some have been struggling with personal issues for some time, and find it difficult to ask for help. My goal is to make the process of getting help for yourself, or loved ones, as easy as possible. Together we will identify problems that impact your life and together we will create positive, lasting change. I offer a grounding presence to my clients and use an integration of techniques that address the body, mind and spirit. I support all forms of intimate relationships, and believe everyone deserves compassion and respect.
I specialize in working with teens and adults with symptoms of depression, anxiety, life transitions, and trauma. I have experience treating dissociation resulting from extreme trauma, and have successfully assisted people who are ready to resolve childhood trauma, whatever their present age. I use EMDR along with other techniques when working with clients.
I help women struggling with hormone and perimenopause issues to identify symptoms and find the best way to resolve them, whether that is working with traditional doctors or alternative providers. I also offer clinical supervision for social work interns working towards their professional license. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
