Hello, my name is Marcia Smith, EdD., LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of The Release Center. I provide services for the state of Texas. Life is full of surprises and transitions resolved with feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety, and/or grief. As a clinician, it is my pleasure to collaborate finding your way during these moments. I provide a safe space to explore your emotions, as well as, navigate possible resolutions.
As school counselor and clinician for 10 years, I have experience with teens, individuals, and families. I specialize in depression, anxiety, life transitions, suicidal ideations, and self-esteem issues. I utilize an eclectic methods to help my clients to live at their highest potential of mental wellness.
Lessons are learned through adversity, some are easier to understand than others. Though the road can be dark, hope will bring light. As we work together, it is my mission to remind you that you are not alone and we will get through it together!
