Marc Viera is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with 21 years of experience in the mental health field. Marc has a a diverse and extensive background in the helping profession and he has had the privilege of helping individuals and families achieve a variety of treatment goals. He considers the person as a whole including biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of who they are, as he helps them to address a myriad of symptoms related to anxiety, panic disorder, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and stress-related disorders.
Marc completed his Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. He is a Master of Addictions Counselor (MAC). Marc is a family man and Christian with ample experience in working hard and still enjoying day-to-day life. This enables Marc to best relate to and appreciate all of the individuals he helps.
He utilizes a variety of treatment approaches in this process, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), mindfulness and relaxation practices, motivational interviewing, relapse prevention planning, stress management skills building, and rapport building. Marc is passionate about helping people who are looking to address difficult areas of their life.
