I’m a clinical psychologist who works with adults (18+) that are experiencing a variety of mental health challenges and life stressors. I specialize in counseling individuals with anxiety and OCD, ADHD, eating and weight issues, parenting stress, life transitions and chronic and life-threatening medical conditions. I am also passionate about helping clients who are looking for ways to improve their communication, attachment style, and overall satisfaction in relationships. My goal is to help you stop feeling overwhelmed and hopeless and give you tools to improve your current ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
For me, an integration of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques provide a flexible framework from which to work with varying needs. It also represents attention to evidence-based practice. I also have advanced training in Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP), which has been shown to be particularly effective with anxiety disorders.
