I have worked in mental health for over a decade and specialize in assisting clients with managing moods, stress, and symptoms of Borderline personality disorder, My greatest skill as a therapist is being able to work with clients and help them feel accepted, heard, and understood. I have been trained in many therapy modalities and use these skills to help clients learn coping skills to manage better and cope with daily stress and symptoms they have previously suffered from. I believe change is possible.
Using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy(DBT) skills, I teach mindfulness, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and distress tolerance. Together we will integrate these skills into your treatment based on your individual needs. By learning these skills you can not only learn to manage stress and relationships but thrive in life!
