Life can be challenging for children and teenagers as they learn to navigate an increasingly complicated world, define their identity and gain independence, all while trying to manage their emotional responses and fit in socially. It is equally challenging to parent our children and respond to their emotional needs in an effective way. Children, teens and their parents often face difficult hurdles as they navigate the transitions and life changes associated with child and adolescent development.
I work together with my clients in developing their sense of identity, navigating their emotions, and identifying and achieving their personal goals. I provide a compassionate therapeutic environment to support children/teens and/or their parents to feel more empowered and confident.
