I am a very collaborative therapist and work with clients to understand themselves and identify where they want to go. I am genuine and work to create a safe and comfortable environment where clients can practice being their authentic selves. I am interactive in the therapy process and support clients with practical tools and strategies to challenge old patterns. I work to support clients to incorporate new skills that aim to improve the client's understanding of self and their ability to live more intentionally and authentically. I employ elements of ACT, DBT, and CBT to respond to the unique needs of each person.
I work with many college-age and grad students, young adults, and older adults who have experienced anxieties, complex trauma, struggled with depression, are working on grief issues, substance use and/or struggle with emotion regulation. I focus on providing affirming therapy to LGBTQIA+ communities. I am also a body and health at every size provider.
I am a consistent, genuine, and thoughtful therapist that will walk with you in your journey as you grow and change- but I'm also not always the right therapist for everyone.
