We want to work with you to understand your goals and help you develop plans and skills to achieve your goals that utilize your strengths. Dr. Leslee Uhrich is a Psychologist licensed in Maine and Massachusetts who has been practicing since 2014. She received her Master’s and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. Dr. Uhrich spent the last five years of her career specializing in treating co-occurring medical and mental health conditions, with the majority of her work being with those that have eating disorders. Dr. Uhrich has experience working in all levels of eating disorder care as well as with all age groups. She is certified in FBTwhich is a specialized treatment for eating disorder.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I help individuals with a range of life challenges. I have training and expertise in the areas of anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, parenting support, creative blocks, grief and loss, work/school stress, trauma, and important life transitions. I view therapy as a collaborative process between therapist and client focused on exploring your concerns in an honest, active, and effective manner. Therapy involves sharing your thoughts and feelings, shedding light on and understanding relational and behavioral patterns, and reflecting on how past experiences may impact you now.

I provide individual therapy with adults, parenting issues with children and couples counseling. My passion is inspiring women in transition, addressing depression, trauma, anxiety and substance abuse while focusing on empowerment and independence. I implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Informed Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and Internal Family Systems.
