I am a Missouri licensed clinical social worker with over 6 years experience. I specialize in helping children heal from abuse, primarily focusing on child sexual abuse victims. I also work with children and their parents to resolve behavioral problems. I have experience working in a variety of different settings including a residential treatment program and several nonprofit organizations providing therapy and other services to child victims and their families. I received a bachelor degree in both psychology and sociology at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
I specialize in counseling children and have extensive experience working with child victims of abuse. I utilize a variety of different techniques including play therapy and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. While focusing on children, I also assist parents in helping their children heal.
