Resiliency is the capacity to work through difficult situations and adapt to hardship. My approach working with clients focuses on bringing awareness to each individual’s unique inner strengths and collaboratively problem solving to further develop coping skills and a growth mindset amid life’s challenges. I have worked with a diverse population of youth, adults and families locally in various therapeutic settings for over a decade (including LGBTQ+, Tribal, probation involved and neurodiverse populations).
My theoretical orientation is integrative and draws from humanistic, cognitive behavioral and systems models. I am nationally certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have specialized training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I provide evidence-based coping strategies personalized to the needs of each individual.
