Hello! I'm Tera Campbell, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 10 years of professional work experience. I also have 26 years of experience with the military life, and understand the struggles with deployments, change in family dynamics, and transitions in roles. I have experience in helping clients with relationship concerns, family conflicts, and parenting issues. I work with couples to repair trust, improve communication and respect, and strengthen their emotional intimacy with each other. I'm also a member of the LGBTQ+ community and have experience with the discrimination and barrier issues within this population.
I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. You are the expert of your story and you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. My therapeutic style is more solution-based, and I enjoy making goals and setting expectations. I also use behavioral therapy, and self-management techniques.
