My name is Maghan and I am glad you are here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation LPC-MHSP. I have been working in the field of mental health for the past 6 years. I have experience in working with ages ranging from 3-90, helping client's with issues such as attention and impulse control, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship issues, managing expectations, developing discipline in daily life, setting life goals, self-esteem and self-image.
I specialize in CBT as my 'go to' technique because if you can change your thinking, you can change your emotion, you can change your action. I also enjoy utilizing Art Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and finding what techniques will work best for you, as counseling is not 'one size fits all'.
