Life is not always easy. Add in a global pandemic, community uprise, and our ongoing political environment, and some days it feels impossible. I get it, and want to be a source of reprieve. My goal is to help you create a better relationship with yourself whereby creating better relationships in the rest of your life. I believe that all of us need a person to talk to that has no bias or judgement in regards to what we are facing. I want to 'dig deep' so to speak and get to the root of what is stopping you from living your best life.
I am an LPCC with experience in areas including: eating disorders, depression, anxiety, abuse, and family concerns among others. I work with individuals, however have worked with families and am open to bringing them into session as needed. My background is in clinic settings, corrections, residential treatment centers and school based mental health.
I work out of many different theories, catering to the client needs above my own. Some of those theories include: Internal Family Systems, Feminist Theory, Dialectical Behavioral, and Narrative. Often times I find merging more than one is most helpful in bringing about awareness and change.
