When I work with the pain of depression, anxiety, fear, isolation or trauma, often my clients' inclinations are to resist it, to stuff it, to pretend it's not happening or to judge themselves for these seemingly intrusive feelings. What if these emotions are surfacing because your mind and body wisdom are giving you the signal, through these experiences that your attentiveness and compassion are being requested? I believe that emotions arise to move through and to assist us in growth and well-being. They contain important messages of wholeness. I use emotions as a portal to acceptance, respect and honoring. We all need the love that comes directly from our own hearts in much the same way a child requires his/her mother's unconditional love..My focus is to inspire the retrieval of self-nurturance and to support your passion for life. I specialize in Trauma using EMDR and Somatic Experiencing.
