My primary theoretical orientation is ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). I have 15 years experience as a counselor working with teens, families, individual adults, and children. I am not currently billing insurance companies.
My practice includes: Child Mental Health Specialist, Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Abuse Issues and Adolescent Psychology, Child and Adult Mental Health Diagnosis, Anti-Oppression Awareness and Advocacy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I enjoy working with families and specialize in adolescent psychology (16-25yrs). I will work dynamically within your unique family system to increase the overall functionality and health of that system. Communication skills, insight and compassion for each others perspective are central to my practice.
