I specialize in working with adult clients, pre-teens and teens, individuals and families in the palliative care system, and Veterans.
My approach utilizes methods from Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy. My experience relies on a background in outpatient therapy, working with clients in long-term medical hospitalization, Veterans within the VA system and mental health research.
I allow my clients to guide the session and create goals that push them to grow but adapts over time to their needs. I believe in fostering an environment in which clients feel heard, seen and understood. By emphasizing compassion, empathy, humor, and authenticity, I hope to push my clients to feel empowered in the complexity of day to day life.
