Hi, my name is Madison and I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I have been working in the field for the last 20 years and have a passion for the work. I am very compassionate and direct. I believe that everyone can heal and that facing the pain is where healing begins. I use a variety of approaches to therapist including internal family systems (IFS), cognitive processing (CPT) and trauma informed care. I have learned the importance of getting to the core of the issue and then empower individuals to heal from there.
I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety and those who struggle with understanding their value. Yet, over the last few years I have been working with first responders and the military which has been rewarding. Trauma comes in all forms.
My approach is compassionate and direct. I will often challenge unkind and mean narratives that clients have created in their view of self and this empowers them to rebuild their sense of self and find a renewed way to live their lives.
